Inspired Arts - WELCOME
A creative collective of artists from Whidbey & beyond ...
"Principal Witness" by Mark Skullerud (mixed media)
At Inspired Arts, we strive to engage your senses, as well as your heart and soul. You'll find the art we feature to be vibrant, exciting, and inspirational. The artists we represent - most of them from Whidbey Island - are family to us, and we strive to create an atmosphere where you'll feel like family, too. From the main gallery to our enchanted hallway, Inspired Arts truly offers something for everyone, from high-end, one-of-a-kind works of art from celebrated artists to sweet gifts for yourself and others.
Looking for island memories? We have local photography by Ron Roesler and Tom Trimbath, the popular coffee table photo book, Whidbey Magic, by Sue Averett & Erick Westphal, and a variety of art cards from The Enchanted Studio, Karen Samuelson, James Hardman, and others. Plus we feature a different artist each month from the Whidbey Island Photographer's club.
Are you a Wexler collector? Come see the Wexler Wall! We feature the vast libraries of both Lee and Fara Mazzola Wexler, whose portfolios span 40+ years.  Looking for color to brighten your home? Check out the vibrant paintings and giclees of Lauryn Taylor, Mark Skullerud, Coralee Campagnolo, Linda Curtis and Karen Samuelson. We carry the phenomenal art of James Hardman of Orcas Island, who possesses an exquisite ability to capture the transcendant light moods of the waterways and forests surrounding his home. Speaking of color and light, you will be drawn into a world of beauty with hand-blown glass by Dan and Joi LaChaussee.
Perhaps the textile arts call to you. Luxuriate in hand-painted silks by Pam Winstanley, marvel over Temari and Kimekomo balls by Kathy Hewitt, and appreciate the intricate Guatamalan designs by Dominga Laura Lopez.
Craving nourishing products for your skin? We have all-natural bodycare products made right here in Freeland by Karen Wilson of Sweet Sisters Bodycare, as well as felted soaps by Lynn Sheffield of Olympic Mist Alpaca Farm.
Maybe you're a jewelry lover? Our choices range from elegant and unique silver-wrapped stones by Nancy Mayes, stand-out glass necklaces from Jody Bone, delicate designs in metal clay by Tammi Sloan, to funky, fun Rust Revival pieces by Sarah Primrose and spectacular sea-glass jewelry from Sarah McCalmon of Camano Isle.
All this and, truly, so much more!
We offer museum quality printing services, which means we can print much of the art on our walls for you in a variety of sizes, at a much lower cost than you would pay for the original. AND we can reproduce your art from digital files, too. Just ask! We also print on PhotoTex. Perfect for signage; just peel and stick!
Last, but certainly not least, indulge in some R&R&R (rest, relaxation & reiki) in our Healing Space with Summer Ewart, Tammi Sloan, Patricia Rohan and Sue Averett, by appointment, or on a walk-in basis (check with us for days & times). And please consider visiting our dear friend across the hall, Jerry O'Neill, for his calming, wise counsel and spiritual direction.
We look forward to welcoming you to our world of wonder at Inspired Arts.
